Cyanotype Edition!

Founder Renée Reizman will introduce people to the art of cyanotype, an analogue photography method that uses the sun to expose photographs. In this session, we will add our drawings to pre-coated cyanotype paper and collectivley creative a timeline that reflects upon our past, present, and future.

There will also be some test-paper provided so you can play around with cyanotype and take home some work.

Feel free to bring in objects you may want to add to the canvas. Natural elements like leaves, grass, and flowers are great for the canvas, as well as fabrics and trims with see-through qualities like mesh, lace, or eyelets.

Image DescriptionA blue-toned poster featuring a circular star chart background. On top, a circular ring of light blue and white text says “Disability Drawing Club.” A slightly smaller ring in the same color says "cyanotype edition." In the lower-left corner, light blue text provides event details: “Sunday, March 15, 11:30 AM, Ground Floor Echo Park. No Drawing Experience Necessary!”
